On January 17, 2014, SCI informed us that the Imperial College Foundation (ICF), which accepts donations for the support of SCI, had had to deactivate its bank account due to fraudulent activity detected on the account. The bank detected three attempts to withdraw funds from the account by a party that was not ICF. ICF is in the process of establishing a new account. ICF did not lose any funds as a result of the fraudulent activity.
We do not believe that this affects donors in any way.
