On July 7, 2011, we published a blog post updating our view on KIPP's room for more funding. We recommend that donors interested in supporting KIPP's short-term need for additional funding donate to KIPP Houston. This page allows you to donate to GiveWell for the support of KIPP Houston.
The reason we collect donations on behalf of recommended charities is to (1) allow us to track our own impact on donations and (2) give us a chance to ask you if you'd like to receive updates on GiveWell's research.
Important:
- GiveWell does not charge fees on donations to KIPP Houston and we do not automatically add you to any mailing lists.
- Donations to GiveWell are tax deductible in the U.S. to the extent permitted by US tax laws.
- Both GiveWell and KIPP Houston will receive confirmation of your gift as well as your contact information and email address (if you choose to share it). GiveWell shares information with KIPP Houston periodically and KIPP Houston may not be able to acknowledge your gift for some time. Your information will not be shared with any third parties.
