This page allows you to make a recurring donation to GiveWell for the support of GiveDirectly.
The reason we collect donations on behalf of recommended charities is to (1) allow us to track our own impact on donations and (2) give us a chance to ask you if you'd like to receive updates on GiveWell's research.
GiveWell (a.k.a. The Clear Fund) is a federally-recognized tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. We are able to make grants for the support of our recommended charities, and U.S. donors are able to take tax deductions for donations to GiveWell to the extent permitted by US tax laws.
Please note:
- GiveWell itself does not charge any fees when taking donations for the support of our recommended charities, but Google Checkout charges standard credit card processing fees.
- You may make a recurring donation above. Visit our one-time donation page to make a single donation.
- Both GiveWell and GiveDirectly will receive confirmation of your gift as well as your contact information and email address (if you choose to share it). GiveWell shares information with GiveDirectly periodically and GiveDirectly may not be able to acknowledge your gift for some time. Your information will not be shared with any third parties.
- GiveWell will not automatically add you to any mailing lists.
