The role of donors
We plan on considering as many opinions as possible in our future expansion, but we will give special weight to our own funders' preferences. This is because our model involves giving large grants in order to get information about what charities do and whether it works.
Thus, another way to have a say in what we research next is to become a donor. The option to donate online to GiveWell is not yet available to the general public, but if you are interested in giving a significant amount ($50,000+) to a humanitarian cause not covered here, we encourage you to contact us about a potential partnership.
