GiveWell (a.k.a. The Clear Fund) is a federally recognized tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Documentation is available in our official records.

You can donate to GiveWell (a.k.a. The Clear Fund) by sending a check made out to GiveWell to the address listed on our contact page.

You can also donate online using the form below. Online donations to GiveWell (a.k.a. The Clear Fund) are processed by Google Checkout, which charges 2.9% of the donation amount plus $0.30. (Google Checkout's standard rates.) This charge includes credit card processing fees.

If you want to make an unrestricted donation to GiveWell, please make sure to check the appropriate button below.

Unrestricted donation: we may use these funds for operating expenses or grants to charities, at our discretion.
For re-granting only: we will re-grant your donation to a top charity after our next round of research, and use none of it for operating expenses.

Note: you can also donate to our top charities directly. GiveWell collects no fees and plays no role in the donation process.
